We are a newly formed female ice hockey club with ladies of all ages ranging from 15 to 50 and all playing abilities.

We are a completely self-funded team culminating in costs totalling hundreds of pounds a year, per player, to play. The expenses we are required to cover are league registrations, ice hire (which costs around £150 per hour), referee fees, kit and travel expenses. We train once a week on a Monday night at 9.45pm at Slough Ice Arena and will be participating in the English Ice Hockey Association’s South Division 1 League for 2018-19, where our aim is to ultimately gain promotion into the Premier League.

As a successful and competitive group of women we collectively agreed that we wanted to remain together due to our increasing success in recent seasons. So moving forward, as a newly formed team in Slough, our overall aim is to further the progress of our current squad, bringing more women into the sport. We would also hope in the future to build a relationship with the junior system in order to bring young girls up into our senior squad.
